Big Islanders young and old got in on the fun Saturday during Solid Rock Ministries’ annual Egg Rush held Saturday in Kailua-Kona.
The Easter Egg Rush kicked off at 9 a.m. with children — younger than 11 — separated by age group rushing Old Kona Airport Park’s soccer fields, grabbing up as many of the 40,000 plastic eggs chock full of goodies and slips to redeem for bigger items. Sponsored by Solid Rock Ministries Kona, the event is free to keiki and features various activities and booths.
